EMO'S BBQ

It was a good weekend! Yeah i love how in that first picture, i took it it's supposed to be all 3 of us, and yeah.. it's Kelly, Kiki, and MY BOOB! hahahaha The Girls came down from San Diego on Saturday and we attended a BBQ at Andres's house. The reason for the BBQ is because Emo is leaving to Chicago. He got a job there and is now gone :( i know it's so sad. We had a good time. Kiki, Bridge, and Meth got here around 2:30 and we headed to andres's around 3. There was a decent amount of people, they had the grill going and lots of beer. We just kinda hung out there, Both Meth and Keeks can say that they have been shot in yuma. They were shot by andres's pellet gun! That thing hurts! Anyway, the bbq was allright, like usual it couldn't be a yuma party without a fight, but it was ended quickly and not much damage was done, just a few wet cellphones and a few people ended up in the pool. My aunt and uncle were there as well as emo's parents.

We were there for quite a while then we all went to Buffalo Wild wings had a few drinks (strawberry margaritas) . The girls were dancing and skipping around and meth hurt her ankle but she's doing ok, she's alive! After buffalos we went back to andres's to play a little cranium.
The teams were Andres and Lea, against... Ricardo & Kiki, and Meth and myself! Meth and I were kicking butt! We Were amazing until my partner spilled her drink all over the place and fell over so then we just called it a night. We came back to my place and pretty much passed out. Mom made us chocolate chip pancakes the next morning...and the girls took off around noon. hahha meth was still drunk when they left. OOPS! OHHH and Meth used her fake ID! YAY !!!!!!!!!!

Glamis

Ahh... a nice day off of everything, good ol' presidents day, gotta love it! Well my brother Jp came into town to make a documentary on Glamis, for www.turnhere.com he's on one abotu chicano park on that same address if you'd like to check it out. It's pretty good. Anyway i spent the day driving around glamis, helping with the shooting of the video, i t hink im even in it. i was the driver for the tour.

David was the guide and my brother just filmed, and asked questions to random people. It ended up being a pretty fun trip. Mr.Beanard went too (as you can see in the picture) and he even made a new friend (oldsmobile) the dinosaure that he found 1/2 buried in a sand dune.

Towards the end of the trip we decided to do a little off roading, and well by the picture you can't really tell but we were in a hole adn the 4 wheel drive popped out and we couldn't get it back in and we got super stuck.. OOPS! some guys tried to help but then they got their truck stuck too and we ended up being stranded until some old hippy guys came out and helped us, it was nice of them. then we took davids "shortcut" which was about 39 times LONGER! It turned out to be a great day, my brother got all his filming done and it shoul dbe online in a couple of weeks.

So we made it back around 7 pm, and we met up with my brother ricardo. We had dinner and played some uno. the end!

The Pool Incident

OK, just as promised here is the the pool story as heard by Mr.Puddlegum on a warm Jan. night at the MineShaft:

Once Upon a time, in a place called Y-Town there lived a couple of rowdy 20 year olds. They had gotten a little hungry and a little thirsty so they decided to drive to Los Algodones Mexico eat some tacos and take back a few beers. After having their fill they proceeded to walk around and buy some fireworks.

They end up buying a handful of random fireworks, and 1 large cherry bomb. A few weeks while the parental units were out of town, they decided to throw the cherry bomb into the pool and see the fun splash.. Well they lit it, threw it in and ran inside... They stood there to watch the action through the living room window. Smoke started coming out of the pool, and then an extremely LOUD bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm, the explosion had made the whole foundation of the house shake.

After the shaking had stopped they looked at each other and all they could say was " I think we really messed up this time" they ran out to the pool to find debris all around the pool and in the water. They started cleaning it up, one of the guys EVEN got in the icy cold November water. They cleaned up all the evidence and you couldn't even tell anything had happened. Relieved they went back inside and continued with their lives.

A Few days later the mom came home from being out of town and went outside and noticed that the water level for the pool was really low, not thinking much about it she just filled it up like normal... Well the next morning the pool was 1/2 EMPTY!!!!!!! She filled it up again and again and again it kept emptying. She called the pool people they came over , inspected it and told her they were going to have to empty it and see what was wrong. So the pool was emptied, there was a crack in the foundation, they had to re-seal the pool, well while they did that they painted it, and gave it a nice running creek that now ends in the pool.

well the moral of the story is.. if you want your parents to fix the yard and pool throw a giant cherry bomb into the pool.

Oh, and the pool took like 6 months to fix. hahah

Yuma Life

Today, we had a pretty good day, every since i've been in town we've been trying to think of something to do on nice saturday afternoons, so this week we decided to have a picnic at the park. Daniel brought his friend and they rode their bikes while the rest of us had lunch.

My tia Carmen showed us her new bruises from the last week...(we tends to fall over boxes in her garage while cleaning it so now she just kinda gave up on it) the poor lady! hahaha

we had corn on the cob, there was salad, hot dogs, chips, lemonade, tuna salad and even ice cream yum yum! Well, such is life in yuma, what else is there to do on a saturday then head to Kofa Park.
