GLAMIS

Ahh... Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest weekends for offroading in the Glamis (Imperial Sand Dunes) area. Friday after thanksgiving I packed a bag and drove out to Yuma. My Tia Rosa had asked me if I would be kind enough to take her kids offroading in Glamis for the weekend so my uncle and her could take a little road trip to Vegas to see the Celine Dion Concert.

I arrived to the Valencias house to find out the Expedition had a flat, so David and I went and got that fixed down on Ave. B. On our return there were about 3 other cars waiting for us full of kids who were also going to glamis.

We loaded up and headed out. It was cold and soooooo windy!!!!!! We met up with Jose and Juan in Glamis, and as soon as I jumped out into the sand I noticed another HUGE nail in the expedition. So I had to drive back to Yuma with Daniel and we got that fixed, we also picked up Elena, some hot soup, Andres's quad, and Andres.

By the time we made it back to glamis it was getting dark, and it was insanely windy! So we get back , and a few of the kids had defenetly taken advantage of us not
being there so have a little Too much fun. It was allright nothing to crazy. So we came back and andres and I sat by the fire like old people and just chit chatted, while the high schoolers ran around and off roaded.

There was about 12 of us there, it was cold and windy. We cooked hot dogs on sticks, haha it was interesting. Daneil thought it was really funny. Daniel was the only one that was able to sleep in a tent! (it was to windy to put the other tents up) The Girls slept in the back of the trailer and froze to death, everyone else slept in cars. Andres and I slept in the expedition with david, and we were even cold in that.

We woke up early the next day, and just offroaded all day
long until about 3 when we loaded up the quads and headed back to yuma. Everyone in 1 piece, and everyones alive! HOORAY!
"5 fatalities, between 280-300,000 people, 147 emergency services calls, two small fires, 516 law enforcement calls, 37 arrests, and 29 Dui charges." Yuma Daily Sun. but we made it home ok. :) hooray.

Naty Night

What would you do if you had a fridge full of naty light and your roomies mom is coming into town and staying with you guys???...... what else can you do but drink them all. That is exactly what happened this last wednesday at the B2K household. Chacha ended up spending the night, We started by making dinner and cookies while drinking some naty, and after those were gone we continued with the Coors and then had to top it off with some rum and coke.. just for kicks. By the time kiki got home from work we were pretty much done all i can say is that it was a long night, and here are some pictures. I know there was necking involved, we called tons of people, texted a bunch and had a great time! Oh and 1 more thing... MISSION COMPLETE!

Long Overdue Tucson Roadtrip

Ug, so after a week of beign back from tucscon, i am ready to give this blog another try. I had written an amazing blog telling all the funny stories and commenting about the amazing trip and right when i was about to publish it my computer froze and i lost it ALL!!! I had uploaded tons of pictures and well i lost it all so now i have to restart it and give it another try. Well, lets see.. we decided to finally take a long overdue trip to tucson, so we decided to rent a car and head out. We all voted that 1pm would be a great time, and we'd make it there early and it would be great, well as you know plans never go as planned, and it was about 5:30 before we left san diego. We were rocking out, and kiki was freaking out because she had never been in a car for such a long period of time. We made it to yuma in about 2.5 hours, we picked up a quick dinner at chili pepper and a coffee at the new starbucks and got back on the road.

After about 35 minutes kiki was about to explode so meth and keeks decided to go on a little mission into the trunk and find the bottle of whiskey that i had accidently left in the trunk. Yeah i know it was my fault but i did get a car with foldable backseats so they were able to crawl throught them and retrieve it without me having to pullover. So that was amazing. They had a few shots of whiskey making them feel better and allowing them to calm down and enjoy the rest of the drive.

We finally arrives in tucson around midnight and we went and picked up joe money and headed to kelly's house. It was a little late to go out, and we were a little tired, so we hung out and just started playing drinking games. We were up till 7 am drinking, playing asshole, and then the girls and joe went for a early morning walk to find the sunrise but they got tired and came back before the sun came out. That night kiki overdid it a little bit and ralphed for the first time like she says she did it "tucson style".

We had so many amazing plans to go to Nogales and run around and shop all day the next day but we didn't wake up until 1:45 so i went and dropped off joe money who had to be at work at 2:30 and then we went and did a little shopping on 4th ave with Trish. We ended up having lunch at bison witches, yum yum and then we went a trolley ride down to urban outfitters.

After our shopping we went back to kells where we took a nice powernap, We watched Monsters INC, and then Kelli fell from the balanace ball and flashed me, it was pretty amazing hahahahaha, So that night kelly and I went to the buffet, bridge was with her friends and meth & kiki stayed at kellys and drank. After the bars closed we went back to kellys and conitnues to play some drinking games and hung out with pierre it was nice. I missed hanging out with kelly so much!

The trip back was fine, we did pretty good, kiki almost died as you can see by the pictures!

We woke up around noon the next day jumped in the car and headed back to san diego! Kiki almost died she couldn't wait tog et home. HEre are some of the things kiki was going through on the trip back It was a great trip we had a great time and we all can't wait to go back.... ( kiki says next time shes going to fly)

Kiki's Bithday!

Ohh, the maddness is that indicion, job hunting, and grandma sitting. My life is going well this week, I've recovered nicely from hallowee, and we are planning a nice road trip to Tucson this weekend and I am very excited. I've been on the job hunt for a few days now, JP is in LA on a few interviews he might end up moving up there which puts me out of a roomie... such is life , i'll find something or someone or both!

My tia Rosa and the kids were here this weekend, so i didn't have to grandma sit! Wee! We didn't do much this weekend, we hung out, watched a few movies, did some shopping went to dinner at ranchos on saturday and then went to the movies.

What else lets see, It was kikis birthday on Monday and well and we all went to dinner at Bucca di Beppo in downtown it was great, We had a nice dinner, we also learned that kiki is really bad at blowing... ( she was only able to blow out 1 candle!) What else happened??? hmm.. well the waitress remembered Dave, and served him a nice sized mountain dew which she only had to refill once! Imajine that! just 1 time, it was amazing.

AHH.. Good Ol' UofA

Zonies shocks UCLA, hands Bruins first loss this season, Fans storm the field after 52-17 upset!!!

As everyone knows Football is not UofA's big sport, all we need is a ball and a hoop and then we can show you how it's done. So last nights homecoming game against UCLA was going to the be the hardest game of the year and after many years of horrible football playing, the teams dreams finally came true. It was the highest-ranked team to lose to Arizona since the Wildcats beat No. 1 Washington 16-3 in Tucson on Nov. 7, 1992. Hundreds of fans, mostly students, stormed the field at the finish.

"It was one of those things you dream of," said Bell, a senior who has experienced so many bad Saturdays of losing football. "It was just a blessing for it to finally happen here."

The World Can't Wait!

"gthat which you will not resist & mobilize to stop, you will learn-or be forced-to accept"

November 2 marked a tremendous first step torward forcing Bush to step down and changing the whole direction of society. There were convergences from big cities to small towns, determined high school and campus walk-outs, prominent voices speaking out, and all this was covered in the major media. This powerful day of resistance reflected the Call for the World Can't Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime!

And start organizing for the next step , drowning out Bush's State of the Union speech in January with massive protest, and demanding that Bush "step down, and take your program with you."

I was there earlier today in downtown san diego and it was sad that there weren't very many people, I hope the group and supporters will grow in the next few months. So get your stuff together and step up.
